SMP for Female Hairloss
Female Hairloss
What is Scalp Micropigmentation?
For many women, hair loss means losing a part of their identity. It can happen for many reasons, including pregnancy, hormones, medication, or genetics. A lot of women notice their hairline beginning to recede post-menopause.
As women, we dream of thick, luxurious hair and when that starts to disappear, it can be incredibly impactful on your confidence and self-esteem.
Scalp micropigmentation for females is much more common than you think and is becoming a much less taboo subject.
Scalp micropigmentation (also known as SMP or a hair tattoo) is a technique where hundreds of microdots are applied to the scalp to replicate the illusion of thicker and fuller hair. Working through the scalp, we create a 3D shading effect that will add density to the hair that has been lost.
Rather than trying to hide your hair loss, you can continue styling your hair in any way you like, as SMP looks 100% natural. Scalp micropigmentation may not promote hair growth, but it does help you restore your identity and confidence.
